Mission Statement
The
Art Gallery at Kingsborough Community College is dedicated to providing
students, faculty, and the many communities that make up the borough of
Brooklyn an annual schedule of exhibitions chosen to present art of historical,
regional, national or international standing that reflect the values and
standards inherent in our curriculum. Exhibitions are free and open to
the public.
Submissions
Submissions
will be reviewed by a gallery committee comprised of Art Department faculty
and staff. The committee considers all media. Please keep in mind the
committee seeks professional artists with substantial exhibition or publication
records, whose work will provide our students an exhibition experience
that is both challenging and relevant to their program of study.
Send digital images of no more than 72 DPI that represent an overview of what will actually be exhibited, along with any support material to:
If you represent a visual arts organization located in Brooklyn that has been in existence for at least five years, you may send information regarding an exhibition of your organization.
