Our Aquarium has been in operation since 1986. It is part of the Marine and Academic Center (MAC). It is an attraction and an educational resource for our students and the community. I worked with the facility from its beginning providing suggestions to the College administration, NY State architects, and NY Aquarium personnel as they drew up the plans and carried out the construction.
Thousands of college students and many more thousands of high school and elementary school students have used this facility as an educational resource over the years.
