Bio 52 - Marine Biology is a 4-credit, 6-hour course for biology majors and for people interested in an in-depth study of marine ecosystems. Field work is in Jamaica Bay, the ocean off Coney Island, the Great South Bay and Moreiches Bay of Long Island. Each student sets up a marine tankand works with organisms collected on the trips. There are laboratory
exercises as well as 3 hours of lecture each week.

Bio 25 is a 3-credit introductory marine bioloigy class for
any student interested in the marine environment.

Bio 81 is an Independent Stuey in marine ecosystems which
can be arranged with Professor Goetz.
