The
Biology Department offers an A.S. Biology program with concentrations in
marine biology, biotechnology, and secondary education. We also offer a
transfer option program in Health and Nutrition Sciences with Brooklyn College.

Our
department offers Allied Health transfer-options specifically in Physician
Assistant, Occupational Therapy, and Pharmacy that provide the prerequisite
courses in liberal arts and sciences to facilitate transfer to professional
schools offering advanced degrees in those disciplines.
We also prepare students for careers in Physical
Therapy with transfer to 4-year colleges for the B.S. degree. The Bachelor's
degree is now
the requirement for entry into PT professional schools. The links below

The department also offers a 2-year A.A.S. Physical Therapist Assistant Program which allows the student to enter the workforce upon successful completion of the program and State Board Examinations.
