Aristides Falcon-Paradi was born in Havana. He has been many things in life: a wrestler, an actor, an artisan, yoga practitioner, vegetarian, essayist, but essentially he has been a poet. He has four unedited books of poems. His poems have been published in India, Mexico and the USA, and he has obtained prizes for his poetry. Recently, the Instituto Arte Teatral Internacional (IATI) staged his play Historia cotidiana. He holds a Ph.D. from CUNY's Graduate School. Dr. Falcon-Paradi has published articles in specialized journals and his book, El teatro cruel de Matias Montes Huidobro, is presently in press.
