French Conversation

FR 22 FRENCH CONVERSATION. (3 crs. 3 hrs)

This course will generate practice in conversational patterns and basic vocabulary leading to fluency in everyday situations. One will acquire through this course basic conversational skills allowing communication with French speaking people throughout the world.

Emphasis is placed on developing capacity to converse on everyday situations and different levels .It is designed to reinforce oral competence so as to allow students to ask for and to give personal information, ask and answer questions about daily routine and work habits, express likes and dislikes and discuss plans for the future.

An interactive approach is used for this course. It integrates very well vocabulary, idioms and specialfeatureswith photos and description of common French gestures. The primary purpose of the gestures is to reinforce the meaning of those expressions associated with them that students will learn and use throughout the term.
