In addition to servicing the entire college with the required Health Education 12 course, our Department offers an outstanding array of Physical Education courses in our award-winning gym and pool facility

We also offer the A.S. and A.A.S. degrees in four different academic concentrations:

Exercise Science

Physical Education

Sports Management Concentration

Therapeutic Recreation

The Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department at Kingsborough provides an excellent array of sports facilities and programs. Not only do we have the requisite gymnasia, but also a dance studio, 2 squash courts, an olympic size swimming pool, fitness room and athletic field.

Our programs are varied and provide an excellent mind/body educational experience for our students as well as career opportunities in such specialized areas as health, physical education and recreation
