CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:
Phase 1 of the campus-wide Roof Replacement project has been completed. All the roof areas of the Marine and Academic Center (MAC) building, the Library Promenade roof and many areas of the Central Services (P) building roof are now leak-free.
Phase 2 will follow soon, with the T8 Building's roof first on line.
On September 5, 2007, five new classrooms were inaugurated on the east end of the T2 building. A computer lab in T243 was also fully renovated, with new flooring, new ceiling tiles and a fresh paint job.
Construction began in early July, 2007 and was completed in record time, incorporating state of the art technology in the form of "smartboards" in each classroom.
Phase 2 of this project will include the upgrading of the fire alarm system in the T2 building. Most of the work will be scheduled during off hours to minimize disruption to the building’s occupants.
