• Experienced, caring instructors and staff provide adult supervision on Kingsborough's beautiful and secure campus.
• An emergency medical consent form is required for every child. This form must be turned into the office on the first day.
• Children change classes like real college students. Parents can only escort children to and from classes and are not allowed to remain in the buildings.
• Parents are encouraged to show first-time students how to get to their classrooms the first day, since children are not ecorted individually. College Assistants, identifiable by badges, are on hand to direct students. Children attending a full-day program are escorted to and from lunch in groups.
• Parents themselves may enroll in a Saturday or Sunday morning course. Many courses start 10 minutes after, and end 5-10 minutes before College For Kids classes so that parents can attend class, drop off and pick up their children.
• In order to drive on campus, parents must purchase a parking permit for $22. Permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you do not have a parking permit, please arrange for your child(ren) to meet you at a predesignated location.
