Description:• The Contemplative Practices Faculty Interest Group, facilitated by Rick Repetti (History, Philosophy & Political Science) is open to all faculty and staff who are interested in the use of meditation and related contemplative practices. The Group meets every Monday, 3:00-4:00 p.m., in M391, beginning September 22, 2008, primarily to practice meditation together (complete beginners to advanced practitioners are welcome), and to discuss various contemplative practices (e.g., meditation, reflective writing, etc.) and their use in and out of the classroom. No commitment is involved. Please feel free to visit us for an enlightening Experience! Refreshments will be served.
Admission:Open to all interested faculty; newcomers always welcome. RSVP to reserve a place.
