work as educators, such as How People Learn, The Art of Changing
the Brain, Thinking about Teaching and Learning, What the Best
College Teachers Do, Honored but Invisible, and Campus Life:
Undergraduate Cultures from the End of the Eighteenth Century
to the Present. This semester, Emily Schnee (English) and Jason
VanOra (Behavioral Sciences) will facilitate group discussions
that continue to focus inquiry into student cultures at KCC.
Readings will include The First Year Out: Understanding American
Teens After High School by Tim Clydesdale. For more information
or to join, please contact Emily Schnee at emily.schnee@verizon.net
