 Led
by Libby Garland and Michael Spear (History, Philosophy and
Political Science), the Urban Studies faculty interest group
will explore, from an interdisciplinary perspective, how the
theme of urban studies might be further developed in KCC's classrooms
and in the college at large. Whether you are already incorporating
the study of cities into your classes, or want to think more
about how you might do so, you are welcome. Together, we will
look at course materials such as syllabi, assignments and readings
to generate discussion about what we do and might do in our
