Faculty
are invited to start or join a faculty interest group where
faculty across disciplines meet at least once a month to explore
a common interest and share concerns and best practices. Generally,
groups meet monthly though they may meet more frequently if
participants wish to. Meeting times are coordinated by the
faculty facilitator, who tries to accommodate all interested
faculty. If you would like to join a KCTL faculty interest
group, or would like to propose a new one, please contact
KCTL.
Faculty are welcome to join an interest group at any time.
Meetings are posted on the KCTL website calendar, and KCTL
sends weekly emails to all faculty listing events scheduled
for the following week. Scheduling is also posted on a bulletin
board maintained by KCTL in the faculty and staff dining room.
This year, Blogging to Learn and Critical Thinking
are on hiatus, but faculty from seven departments will be
facilitating the following groups, and we hope you will join
one of them.
Please click on the name of a group below to learn a bit more
about it.
If you
find any of these groups interesting, please contact KCTL
at kctl@kingsborough.edu
to join or to get more information. Also, please contact us
if you have an interest that is not addressed above and would
like to start and facilitate a new group.
KCTL belongs to the KCC faculty. We look forward to hearing
from you with your interests and your suggestions. Please
call us at ext. 5252 or email us at kctl@kingsborough.edu.
