Academic Support

Students in Career Focused learning communities receive small-group or one-on-one instruction in English (reading and writing) from Kingsborough adjunct faculty who help facilitate the integrative seminar. This support may take place during the seminar, in those cases where it is appropriate, or may take place outside of class at a time that is convenient for both instructor and student. Students may choose, on their own, to seek this additional support and/or students may be referred by their course instructors.
