Supplemental Instruction

Students in Career Focused learning communities receive small-group or one-on-one instruction in English (reading and writing) and math from Kingsborough adjunct faculty who serve as supplemental instructors. Supplemental instructors make contact with students through the integrative seminar. Supplemental instruction may take place during the seminar, in those cases where it is appropriate, or students and supplemental instructors may arrange to meet outside of class at a time that is convenient for both. Students may choose, on their own, to seek this additional support and/or students may be referred by their course instructors.
