Prof. David Costello teaching a In the Intensive ESL Program, cohorts of up to 25 students take a block program of five linked courses: ESL (one of three levels); a General Education course such as Health, History, Psychology, and Sociology; a Speech course; and two Student Development courses - SD 10, which focuses on college planning and SD 11, which focuses on career exploration. Faculty collaborate to link courses through common student learning objectives, themes, and assignments.
