- Adding a Network Printer
- to your Computer

- This file will assist you in adding a network printer to your computer.
- Each page will detail each step so you may add the network printer of
your choice into your print folder.

- Click the “Start” button.
- Go to “Settings” and click on “Printers and Faxes.”
|

- A new window should open displaying what printer are currently
installed.
- To add a printer, click “Add a printer.”
|

- The “Add Printer Wizard” will appear, prompting you to add a network
printer by taking you step by step.
- Here you will click the “Next” button.

- Make sure “A Network Printer, or A Printer Attached To Another Computer”
is selected and then click “Next”.

- Select “Connect To This Printer” and type next to “Name”
“\\Poseidon\F123Biz” then click “Next”
- In many cases, a drop down menu may appear and you can select the
printer you wish to install.

- Select “Yes or No” to switch the Default Printer (meaning this will be
your first printer of choice when you print) to the one just installed
- Click “Next” then click “Finish” to finish installing printer.
- Congratulations, you have now installed your network printer.
