Employees of The City University of New York who meet the University
and The City of New York requirements for registering as a member of a
domestic partnership are eligible to apply for several employee benefits.
One of the benefits is health coverage for the domestic partner under
the family coverage of the health plan that the employee has elected.
The children of the domestic partner may also be eligible for health coverage
if they meet the criteria.
An information packet containing partnership registration procedures
and forms, benefit application procedures and forms, are available from
the Fringe Benefits Office, Room P203. Employees who have already registered
their domestic partnerships with The City Clerk of The City of New York
may use that registration, in part, to meet the University and The City
of New York requirements.
You may inquire about registration and applications by calling Mickie
Driscoll at extension 6525. The Office of Human Resources and Labor Relations
holds all personnel and benefits records at the College in strict confidence.
If you are concerned about even greater confidentiality in registering
your partnership for the purpose of applying for health benefits, you
may elect to contact:

University Director of Employee Benefits
