  Labor Relations

Labor Relations assists employees, supervisors, administrators,and unions in creating a productive and harmonious work enviroment on campus.
The day-to-day work of Labor Relations consists of working with union representatives and management personnel to address labor issues pertaining to all employees. Labor Relations also provides guidance to the administration on compliance with collective bargaining agreements and University policies and procedures. The Labor Designee is responsible for hearing, researching, and drafting Step 1 grievance and disciplinary decisions for instructional and classified staff at the college level; representing the college at Step 2 grievance and disciplinary hearings at the University; and negotiating and implementing settlement agreements.
