Once upon a time in America, we could purchase hours of fun for a nickel or a dime. At the corner variety store, 5 or 10 cents bought a nifty toy, a bit of jewelry, or a milkshake with two straws to share with someone special. This year, a live performance at Kingsborough costs less than a movie ticket.
Now that’s a bargain! Lively Arts at Kingsborough offers you an exciting season of top-quality music, dance, and theater for all ages at just $5 to $10 per ticket. Subscribers, seniors, and students get discounts. Some programs are completely free! Look for these icons to determine the ticket price: |

This season you will find fun family shows including Max & Ruby and Madeline; superb music and dance from Spain, Ireland, Israel, Russia, China, India, and Africa; the award-winning drama Letters Home about our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan; the Off-Broadway madcap hit Cut to the Chase; and classic Buster Keaton films with live piano music.
You’ll also find information about special campus events including art gallery exhibitions, student shows, and community concerts. Welcome back to the Five & Dime! |
