Searching Business Source Premier for business news

Business Source Premier is an electronic database that contains full-text articles from over 7,800 business journals that cover management, economics, finance, accounting, and international business.  Business Source Premier contains PDF images for many of the journals.

Steps for Searching Business Source Premier

Step One: Enter Database

Go to Internet Explorer.  Type in the Web address http://libraries.cuny.edu.  Select E-Journals & Reference Databases.  Choose Business Source Premier from the menu options appearing on the left side of the page under “Full Text.”  For on campus access, click on the yellow square.  From off-campus, click on the green house icon and type in the library barcode from your Kingsborough ID card.

Step Two: Setup Search

            Enter search terms in the rectangular boxes.

            Check Full Text box under “Limit Your Results.”

            Click on the Search box.

Click on HTML Full Text or PDF Full Text to view, save, or print articles.
