ARCHIVES & SPECIAL COLLECTIONS

The Archives and Special Collections of Robert J. Kibbee Library is committed to acquiring, preserving, and providing access to the records of enduring value (print and electronic) that document the history of the college and Brooklyn’s south shore communities (Gerritsen Beach, Sheepshead Bay, Manhattan Beach, Brighton Beach, Coney Island, Sea Gate, Gravesend, Bath Beach, and Bensonhurst).

The Archives is located in Room 206 on the 2nd floor of the library. Those wishing to access the facility should consult the
library hours page .It is always best to call ahead of time. Reference and research assistance is offered to all CUNY students, alumni, faculty, and administrators. Materials in the Archival Collection cannot be checked out of the library.

• Oral and video histories of important personalities in the history of KCC and the south shore communities
