My Turn 

My Turn spring registration will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in the

Regina Peruggi Academic Village, Room V219 from 10:00am-1:00pm.

 

In order to register for spring courses, you must first submit the following on or before Wednesday, February 15, 2017 to the My Turn office, F219:

  • Completed New or Readmit Application
  • Proof of Age – NYS Driver’s license or Non Drivers identification or Passport, or Birth Certificate, or Medicaid Card, or Baptismal Certificate.
  • Proof of Residency – one telephone or utility bill, or automobile registration, or monthly bank or credit card statement, or auto insurance card, or attendance as a juror in New York State.  This must cover a period of 12 months dated between 1/2016 – 12/2016.
  • Signed meningitis vaccination form. DOCTOR VISIT NOT REQUIRED.

What is "My Turn"?


My Turn

"My Turn"is the name of a very special tuition-free college education program being offered at Kingsborough Community College. The program is open to New York State residents who are 60 years of age or older by the first day of class of the fall or spring semester for which they are applying.

Kingsborough Community College offer seniors a great opportunity to attend regular college classes in a beautiful campus setting at Manhattan Beach with traditional students.

In addition, the My Turn Program has activities such as guest speakers, discussions groups, end of term parties, trips, and other activities.

All New York state residents age 60 or over are eligible. There are no previous educational requirements.

My Turn students:

Do not pay tuition, only an $80 registration fee.

Facilities available include access to the library, gym, pool, tennis courts and private beach.

Fall and spring semesters are 12 weeks. Winter and summer are 6 weeks. Daytime, evening and weekend classes are available.
