Applying for Grants

 The Office for College Advancement is Kingsborough Community College’s centralized office for coordinating the submission, processing and reporting of grants and contracts. All grant proposals are submitted through College Advancement.

College Advancement provides technical assistance to members of the faculty, staff and administration in obtaining grant funding for projects that further the mission and goals of the college. We are available to help with everything from conceptual proposal development and identification of potential funding sources to constructing line item budgets and budget justifications.

Once grants are received, we can assist with post-award services such as providing Primary Investigators, Project Directors, and their designees with training on processing fiscal transactions, coordinating submissions of budget and program modifications, and assisting with interim and final report narratives.
