The Office for College Advancement supports, encourages, and promotes the academic mission and vision of the College.Through its various offices, it works with individuals, foundations, corporations, corporate foundations and government entities to raise funds to support the needs of students, faculty and scholastic activities. It coordinates all fund raising for the College by fostering relationships with alumni, faculty and staff retirees, and external constituencies.Public relations and the Kingsborough Community College’s Foundation are also responsibilities of the Office for College Advancement.

The Office of Alumni Relations
provides leadership, services and benefits to some 55,000 alumni. Its mission is to keep the alumni well informed about the College and to support the College community by raising funds that will directly benefit our students. It coordinates several annual activities such as Homecoming Day, concerts, and other alumni events that help raise funds for scholarships.

The Development Office 
designs, implements, and manages the comprehensive campaign to raise funds from federal, state and city governments, and private foundations, corporations and other organizations. It also leads the campus’s efforts to encourage faculty to initiate and write grants.

The Publications Office
provides support in all areas of publications and public relations work. It is responsible for the coordination of graphic and multimedia design for Kingsborough Community College.

The Kingsborough Community College Foundation
has as its purpose the promotion and encouragement of the local and college community and alumni, interest in and support of, Kingsborough Community College and the various educational, cultural, financial, and social fundraising activities conducted by it.
