College for Kids
Administered by the Office of Continuing Education, the College for Kids program offers elementary school students ages seven to twelve, academic, remedial and enrichment classes as well as recreational activities that supplement and enhance programs in elementary school education. Children enroll in two one-hour courses, one of which must be academic, chosen from more than 25 course offerings in eight-week semesters on Saturday mornings during the school year, and for a four-week, four-morning term in the summer. Academic classes include Reading, Writing, and Theater, among others. Teachers give students expert instruction and ensure safe and enthusiastic learning.
