Diploma Now Diploma Now is a High School Equivalency preparation program which is sponsored by the Office of Continuing Education. Classes meet Monday through Friday at seven Brooklyn High Schools: Canarsie, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Fort Hamilton, James Madison, New Utrecht, Sheepshead Bay, and South Shore from 7:15 - 9:15 am. Students receive individual and small group instruction in the five main sections of the GED examination. When deemed "test-ready" students are given a seat at Kingsborough Community College's test center. Students who pass the High School Equivalency examination are encouraged to attend college and are guaranteed a seat at Kingsborough Community College. In order to be eligible for this program, students must be on the register of their home school or recently discharged; be at least 17 years of age, a member of this year's graduating class or earlier and have parental permission.
