Degree Audit

Degree Audit system is a road map which provides you with details about the courses and requirements you have taken and those which are still required for graduation. An extensive, interactive help file is available to help you navigate this information. Once you have accessed your audit, click on the Help button available on the upper right hand corner of the audit screen. If you need any additional help understanding the audit, contact the advisor listed on your audit.

General Reminders:

  • Only currently registered students can access the DegreeAudit system.
  • Updates to your records, such as grade changes, will not appear immediately.
  • DegreeAudit system is down every night from 12:30 am to 5:30 am for necessary back ups. On Saturdays, the system is unavailable from 12:30 am to 8:15 am.

Log In Instruction:

Your Degree Audit User ID is NOT the same as your eSIMS login.

Note: If your KCC PIN is shorter than 6 digits then you must add leading zero(s) to make it 6 digits for DegreeAudit. For example, if your KCC PIN is 3625 then your DegreeAudit PIN will be 003625.

DegreeAudit Student Help Center Information

If you are experiencing difficulty using the DegreeAudit system, please contact the following offices for assistance:

  • Unable to log-on to the system - If the link on the Website is not operational,contact the Help Desk at (718) 368-6679 or send an e-mail to HelpDesk@students.kbcc.cuny.edu 

    Note: DegreeAudit system is shutdown every night at approximately 12:30 am and is restarted that morning at approximately 5:30 am. On Saturdays, the system is available at approximately 8:15 am.
  • Forgotten User ID or PIN - Use the PIN Retrieval system ( eSIMS PIN Retrieval ); your PIN will be sent to your EMAIL address. Or, bring a photo ID to the Registrar's Office in A-101 to receive a new PIN. However, once you change or are assigned a new PIN number, you will need to wait 24 hours for the system to reload your data before accessing the DegreeAudit system.
  • Error 0719: “Your Access Code is not valid. Please re-enter code.“ – Please
    wait 24hours for the system to reload. If the problem persists, contact the Help Desk at (718) 368-6679 or send an e-mail to
    HelpDesk@students.kbcc.cuny.edu
  • Explanation of your audit - Contact the advisor listed on your audit.
  • Questions regarding the course requirements for a particular major - Contact the Office of the Academic Department or Program responsible for your major.
  • Questions regarding course requirements listed on the audit compared to requirements in other documents - Contact the Chairperson of the Academic Department or the Director of the Program to which your major is attached or the Advisor listed on your audit; have your audit and the document listing other requirements available.
  • Questions regarding the audit and TAP requirements - Contact the TAP Office in P-204, at (718) 368-4524.
  • General questions - Send an e-mail to degreeaudit@kbcc.cuny.edu The Registrar's Office will either respond to your question or direct it to the correct office.
