Academic Dismissal

At the end of the spring term, students who receive a letter of ACADEMIC DISMISSAL from Kingsborough Community College are not eligible to continue for the fall semester. Students who are registered for the summer are encouraged to complete their module courses. 

The deadline for filing an appeal for reinstatement to the Fall 2010-A term is Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 3pm.

All written appeals should be addressed to:

Appeals may be left with the Registrar’s Office in Room A-101.

Students who improve their grades over the summer module will not be automatically reinstated; all students must file a written appeal.
