Mr. Aboussleman has worked continually at Kingsborough CC since 1975. He began as a College Assistant, working with the intramural program. In 1977 he began to teach part time and coach the Men's Soccer, the Women's Softball and the Women's Basketball teams for three years. In 1991 he was appointed the Kingsborough Athletic Director where he remained until 1998. During his time as AD the school was cited for being the first University ever for hiring a woman to coach a men’s team. (Kerri McTiernan coach of the Men’s Basketball team). At the end of his reign as AD the Men's Tennis team (under Coach Barry Goldsmith) became the first ever CUNY team to win a National NCAA/NJCAA Championship. Since retiring as AD, Mr. Aboussleman has continued on as an adjunct professor teaching HPE 12 and HE 14.
