As advocates for our students, each of the departments within the Division of Student Affairs is responsible for supporting the co-curricular and developmental needs of the student body and for developing policies, programs and services consistent with the campus mission of providing a positive campus life experience for each student.

Additionally, members of the Student Affairs Division interact with a wide range of individuals and groups including SUNY system executives, legislators, business and community leaders, faculty, students and parents. Additionally, the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs serves as an advisor to the President, and the Division participates in the overall administration of the University with representation on the President's Cabinet.

The Child Development Center offers high quality early care and education opportunities for children of KCC students ages 2 years to 5 years, as well as parent education and academic support for student parents. They provide a safe, nurturing environment for the preschooler while his/her parent(s) attends classes.

CUNY Edge provide students who receive public assistance, through the New York City Human Resource Administration (HRA), with the supports necessary to achieve academic success, secure sustainable employment, and to become engaged members of society. The program provides personal and career advisement services, career readiness and financial literacy.

The Office of Community Standards is responsible for acting on behalf of Kingsborough Community College and the Office of Student Affairs in matters pertaining to student conduct and discipline. The Office deals with alleged instances of student misconduct and academic dishonesty on campus.
