Prof. Michael Spear will examine how the 1964 decision to locate Kingsborough in Manhattan Beach sheds light on the intricate dynamics of race and politics, as well as what role CUNY saw itself playing in what was a rapidly changing borough. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about this fascinating moment of KCC history, which continues to shape our college and the role it plays in our city.
