The Immersion Program is a year-round CUNY program that has been part of Kingsborough Community College since 1986. During the Winter Module and over the summer months the Immersion Program offers intense remedial instruction in mathematics, reading and writing to incoming freshmen as well as currently enrolled students who did not pass one or more of the CUNY Skills Assessment Tests. Day and evening courses are offered. Skilled tutors provide extra support and counselors are available to help with personal, academic and career issues. In addition, the Immersion Program offers an Accounting Lab which provides one-on-one tutoring to students of Accounting 11 and 12. Year round the Immersion Program provides in-class tutors for various courses. Who should attend the Immersion Program?
