Good morning KCC Students!

Today is Commencement Day! I am excited for our graduates!  I am so excited that I am writing this email on my way to go visit a few graduates and their families at their homes and gift them with Alumni SWAG!  And starting at 9 am, 15 very excited faculty members will also spread out across NYC to visit graduates too! 

The time is coming when we will celebrate you as well.  By then, I hope we are back on campus, together under the tent for the joyous occasion of your graduation. To get there you have to stay on track by:

• Getting vaccinated so you protect yourself, others and your loved ones ( Reminder if you plan on taking classes on campus must be vaccinated)

• Registering for the fall semester

• Completing your financial aid form and making a plan for how you will pay for college in the coming year

• Checking in with your advisor, before you check out of college mode for the summer.  

• Making post-KCC graduation plans to transfer to a 4 year college, secure a job, or both and

• Taking some time to rest and recharge

I hope that this academic year has been a great one for you. If you are taking summer classes, I wish you the best of luck.   While I won't be sending weekly emails over the summer, I will check in on you.   I look forward to seeing you in the fall.  As always, I am here if you need assistance.  Just email me at President@kbcc.cuny.edu.
