Aaron Charlop-Powers 
Vice President of Strategy and Chief of Staff 

Aaron Charlop-Powers is Vice President of Strategy and Chief of Staff at Kingsborough Community College. In this role, he leads the development and implementation of the college’s strategic plan and works closely with senior leadership to advance institutional priorities across student success, workforce development, and operational excellence. Prior to joining Kingsborough, he served as a Senior Advisory in City Hall where he focused on housing, economic development, and workforce policy. Aaron brings a diverse portfolio of experience across public policy, nonprofit leadership, and international development, including work with the Center for Court Innovation (now Center for Justice Innovation), Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners, the United Nations and others. A New York City native, Aaron holds a Master of Public Policy from Princeton University and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
