Supporting Students with Navigate
Navigate enhances the experience of students, staff and faculty by encouraging connection, collaboration and communication that support student success. Navigate allows advisors and faculty to support the individual goals and needs of each student, while also providing a platform to communicate with students.
Students can use the app to navigate their student experience with convenience and ease. They can quickly connect to campus resources, schedule to meet with advisors, receive feedback from professors regarding their academic performance and more.
Features of KCC Navigate
- Appointments: Schedule and keep track of your appointment with your academic advisor, raise your hand for help and connect with campus resources.
- Class Schedule: View the class schedule for the semester that you are registered for in a term or weekly format.
- Resources: Learn about campus events, support programs and view the contact information for student services and academic departments.
- Tips and To Do’s: Review your to do list and set your own reminders to stay on track.
- Holds: Check to see if you have any current holds on your account that can impact registration and see instructions for addressing the hold.
- Hand Raise: Request help from an academic advisor, or seek assistance from the career center, financial aid or tutoring center
Students
Stay connected to your advisors and fellow students with the Navigate Student app. Use the app to make appointments, connect with campus resources, view your class schedule, among many more features. Sign up to receive alerts and text or email messages.
Advisors and Student Support Staff
Navigate enables advisors to connect students more efficiently with advising and the various support programs. Users can manage appointments, conduct email campaigns, handle student caseloads, take notes, view student records.

Faculty
KCC’s Early Alert system helps faculty communicate with students who are performing poorly in their courses academically. Faculty can log in, set an “alert” for students, refer them to our campus learning centers and compose an email to them.
