KCC Foundation Scholarships

The following scholarships are funded by and administered through the Kingsborough Community College (KCC) Foundation. These scholarships are made possible through the generous donations of KCC supporters—who range from members of the college community (alumni, administrators, faculty, retiree and staff) to companies, foundations and organizations.

General Scholarships

Scholarships given year-round to registered, degree-seeking students in good academic standing who have demonstrated financial need.

Direct financial assistance grants for registered, degree-seeking students in good academic standing who are experiencing a one-time, documented financial emergency.

* The Kingsborough Community College Foundation offers several scholarships (including needs-based financial assistance, special awards, book vouchers and emergency grants) to qualified applicants throughout the academic year. KCC Foundation scholarships are funded by individual donors, charitable foundations and grantmakers, and are awarded without explicit regard to age, race, gender, sexual orientation, citizenship, national origin or any other legally prohibited basis in accordance with federal, state and city law. 

However, the College also promotes external/non-Foundation scholarship opportunities, such as the ones listed here, which may potentially take certain factors such as race or gender into account. KCC does not discriminate on the basis of sex, gender orientation, race, ethnicity or national origin. The scholarship opportunities posted under NYS Scholarships and External Scholarships are NOT affiliated with the KCC Foundation and are not monitored by the College in any capacity.
