2 hour drug and alcohol awareness and 8 hour fall prevention- Total 10 hours
This course is for workers who want to work on construction sites need to complete 10-Hour Site Safety Training (SST). This training is required for workers who already have a valid OSHA 30-hour card. The training covers Fall prevention, Drug and alcohol awareness, Local safety regulations and practices, and Site-specific safety knowledge.
10 Hour SST includes:

8-Hour Fall Prevention: Helps workers recognize, avoid, minimize, and correct fall hazards on job sites
4-hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher: Helps workers understand terms associated with supported scaffolds, explain safety standards associated with supported scaffolds, describe the roles and responsibilities of critical personnel when working near or on supported scaffolding, identify typical hazards associated with supported scaffolds and list steps to avoid such hazards and describe common hazard controls associated with supported scaffolds.
2-Hour Tool Box Talks: Helps workers understand the need for effective Tool Box Talks and educate others on the role of Tool Box Talks to: Reinforce an employer’s training efforts and Keep safety & health at the forefront in minds of workers. Workers will also learn to prepare Tool Box Talks based on situation & needs of adult learners, Obtain and use feedback effectively during Tool Box Talks and Describe how frequent, effective Tool Box Talks increase comradery, communication and overall jobsite culture

The 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher course prepares workers to recognize and avoid a wide range of safety hazards associated with supported scaffold use. You’ll learn about the importance of safety controls, fall prevention equipment, inspections and emergency planning.
4-hour fall prevention is a comprehensive training designed to educate construction workers on identifying and mitigating fall hazards on job sites, covering topics like OSHA regulations, proper fall protection equipment usage, safe work practices on elevated surfaces like roofs, ladders, and scaffolds, and how to prevent falls through awareness and proactive measures, all within a 4-hour timeframe, typically mandated by local safety regulations like NYC's Site Safety Training (SST) standards.

VTT 24 - 10-Hour Site Safety Training

VTT 26 - Site Safety Supervisor (SST)
VTT-26: Site Safety Supervisor (SST) training is a safety training program for construction supervisors in New York City . The training is required by the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) to improve safety standards and reduce accidents. Local Law 196 of 2017, requires Supervisors at job sites requiring a Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator or Site Safety Manager receive 62 hours of Site Safety Training (SST).

30 Hour Concrete Safety Manager
A Concrete Safety Manager (CSM) must be designated on all major buildings in New York City (NYC) where 2000 cubic yards or more of concrete will be placed on an entire project. CSMs must have completed this 30-Hour Concrete Safety Manager course within 5 years before applying for the license.

8 Hour Master and Special Electrical Renewal
7 Hour Master Plumber & Master Fire Suppression
To renew a New York City (NYC) Master Plumber or Fire Suppression Piping Contractor license, the applicant must complete this course and submit a certificate of completion to the Department of Buildings (DOB) Licensing Unit for 7 hours of training as mandated by Title 1 of the Rules of the City of NY §104-06 regarding continuing education requirements.

7 Hour Periodic Gas Piping Inspector Qualification
This course is required by the New York City (NYC) Department of Buildings (DOB) for anyone who will be performing periodic inspections of gas piping systems under the direct and continuing supervision of a Licensed Master Plumber. An applicant for this qualification must take this training course as mandated by the Rules of the DOB and submit a Certificate of Completion to the Licensing Unit.

Certified Welding - Introductory Training
With a hands-on approach, this Introduction to Welding with the AWS Welding Fundamentals program, you will gain a comprehensive overview of the basic principles of welding. You will learn the basic science and practical application of the most commonly utilized welding processes along with other essential topics.
At the end of the course, you will understand the fundamentals of equipment used in MIG welding, TIG welding, and arc welding, including welding and cutting safety and cutting, basic arc welding processes. You will be prepared to become a certified AWS welder! All supplies, gear, tuition and materials are included!
Test to become an American Welding Society Certified Welder
18+ years or older; High School Diploma or Equivalency; Possess proficiency in English
(reading, writing, and speaking skills) and must be able to commit to and attend all
classes at the Kingsborough Community College campus in order to participate in the
