Direct Deposit Announcement

The following announcement appeared on the web site of the New York City Office of Payroll Administration encouraging enrollment in the Direct Deposit program for those employees still receiving their pay through paper checks.


If business operations are interrupted due to COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), you may experience an unavoidable delay in receiving your paper pay check. To continue receiving your pay without interruption, you must sign up for Direct Deposit. 

Direct Deposit is faster, more secure, and more reliable than paper checks. Your pay is automatically deposited into your checking or savings account on the appropriate date.

If you use the “Sign up now” link above, please make certain to scroll down to the CUNY Employees option.  The Direct Deposit Enrollment Form is also available on our college web site or you can obtain the form from the Human Resources Office in room A-201.  Please attach a voided check or form letter from your bank indicating your bank’s ABA (routing) number and your account number.  The completed form and required accompanying documentation must be submitted to the Human Resources Office in room A-201 for processing.

Commencing Monday, March 16, 2020, our payroll unit will begin processing any new Direct Deposit Enrollment forms we may receive for the April 3, 2020 payroll date.
