Senior Citizen Audit

Changes to the Senior Citizens Audit

As of Fall 2020, new My Turn students will only be allowed to audit courses and not receive any credits. If new students are interested in matriculating, they will be able to apply for financial aid but will no longer be a part of the My Turn Program.

Current matriculated My Turn students will be part of a select cohort of matriculated students who will continue to have their tuition and fees waived and receive credits for the courses you are enrolled in through the winter 2025 module.

Starting in 2025, the My Turn Program will be discontinued. However, senior citizens will be allowed to audit classes but not receive credits if they choose not to matriculate.

Who Can Apply

New York State residents over 60 years of age can audit undergraduate courses at Kingsborough Community College tuition-free on a space-available basis.
