Dean’s List Criteria

To qualify, students must meet the following criteria for the combined Spring 2026 | Summer 2026 terms:

  • Maintain matriculated status with a minimum workload of 12 credits.
  • Earn a combined semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.
  • Remain in good academic standing.
  • Exclude enrollment in CLIP (all), ESL (all), ENG 12A0, MAT 500, MAT 9010, and MAT 2010.
  • Avoid receiving any non-passing or penalty grades (D, F, FIN, R, NC, or WU).
  • Resolve all outstanding incomplete (INC) grades by Saturday, September 19, 2026, before the official CUNYfirst add/drop period closes.

Eligibility for Dean’s List will be based on the official grades recorded for the semester as of the last day to add/drop classes for the following spring and/or fall term. 

Students who meet the above criteria will automatically be placed on the Dean’s List. Attainment of the Dean’s List becomes part of students’ permanent records and appears on their transcript.
