Blackstone LaunchPad helps first-generation and low-income college students build career skills and gain real-world exposure. In partnership with 60+ higher education institutions and mission-aligned nonprofits, we provide career training and access to paid internships at Blackstone, its portfolio companies, and high-growth startups.
The Sprinternship Program
In partnership with Break Through Tech, The Sprinternship program is a paid three-week
micro-internship designed to open the doors of tech for CUNY students, particularly
underrepresented groups. Through a series of career development workshops, you will
build your resume, your community, and your professional network while learning about
careers in tech.
Pay Rate: $15/hr.

Brooklyn Museum Summer Internship
As a Brooklyn Museum intern, you’ll join a dynamic group of emerging arts professionals
to re-envision the future of museums while gaining workplace skills through hands-on,
real-world projects. Selected interns will be paired with a supervisor and integrated
into one of the museum’s departments, participating fully in day-to-day workplace
activities and projects with the guidance of full-time staff members. In addition
to gaining extensive work experience, interns will also attend seminars that focus
on the role of museums in society today and include intimate conversations with Museum
staff. Seminars include intimate conversations with Brooklyn Museum curators, conservators,
educators, and collection and exhibition specialists, as well as invited artists and
outside experts. Interns also visit local museums and other cultural institutions.
Pay Rate: $17/hr. | Academic Credit Available

LifeSci NYC
Led by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and its Life Sciences and Healthcare team, the City’s investment in life sciences will create, produce, and deliver dozens
of new cures and treatments, generating thousands of new jobs for New Yorkers—making
our city healthier and fairer. The program seeks to provide experience and training
for students and recent graduates interested in pursuing careers in the life sciences
industry, providing opportunities to work in a wide range of companies, from early-stage
startups to large pharmaceutical and biotech firms.
Pay Rate: $16/hr.
Rolling Admissions
The Borgen Project Internship
The Borgen Project have several internship and volunteer openings that may be of interest
to you, these range from HR, PR/Marketing to writing and journalism. All internship
and volunteer programs provide experience in advocacy, mobilizing and fundraising,
coupled with real industry exposure and an insight into the nonprofit world. Borgen
Project remote internships are work from home roles, weekly deadlines must be met,
meetings will be held online and a weekly update of your progress submitted.
