Metropolitan Museum of Art Spring Internship
The Museum offers internship opportunities for college students interested in careers
in art museums. Join a community of interns to gain professional skills and learn
about museum practice. The Met has over forty department areas that host interns from
a wide variety of academic backgrounds. For example, students majoring in computer
science might apply to intern in the Digital or Information Systems & Technology departments.
Engineering students might be interested in the Buildings and Construction Department.
Art history and other humanities students gain valuable experience in curatorial departments,
as well as Editorial, Education, and Development. Studio art, design, or photography
majors have thrived in areas like Digital, Design, or Imaging. The Department of Scientific
Research welcomes students with a strong background in science.
Pay Rate: $22/hr.

NYC Health & Hospitals Internship
This language access internship will be under the direction of the Director of Language Access and Support Services in the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (ODEI). Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) National Internship Program (Spring)
Gain valuable work experience through paid internships at federal agencies nationwide
such as NASA, USDA, and the Library of Congress. HACU matches a student’s career interests,
educational background, and previous work or volunteer experience with the needs and
demands of our federal and corporate partners. Students receive paid round-trip airfare,
housing arrangement assistance, emergency medical insurance, biweekly stipend, and
attend an intern orientation. Throughout the internship, students also have the opportunity
to participate in professional development, networking, and cultural activities.

NASA OSTEM Summer 2025 Internship
NASA offers several opportunities for students to undertake meaningful and challenging
projects that truly make an impact on humanity. As a NASA intern, you’ll work on meaningful

are located at NASA centers nationwide; some are available virtually.

Energy Efficiency Intern at CUNY
The CUNY FPCM Sustainability and Energy Conservation team is a NYC Agency leader in
many areas. The team helps campuses incorporate energy efficiency into building operations
and maintenance. To assist campuses tackle the enormous challenge of building electrification
on the road to decarbonization. Duties for the intern will include but not limited
to supporting real-time energy management and assist with Demand Response program
management (when campuses automatically shed large electric loads to help when the
electric grid is in trouble)

Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program
Naval Research places college students in Departments of Navy (DoN) laboratories where
they participate in real Naval research for ten weeks during the summer. NREIP allows
academically talented college students pursuing STEM careers to learn about Naval
research and technology while receiving first-class mentoring by top scientists and
engineers. This is a competitive program with over 800 placements in 51 laboratories
around the country where many participants go on to careers within the DON. Interns
are selected based on academic achievement, personal statements, recommendations,
and career and research interests.
Average Pay Rate: $7,500 Stipend

Brooklyn Museum Spring Internship
As a Brooklyn Museum intern, you’ll join a dynamic group of emerging arts professionals
to re-envision the future of museums while gaining workplace skills through hands-on,
real-world projects. Selected interns will be paired with a supervisor and integrated
into one of the museum’s departments, participating fully in day-to-day workplace
activities and projects with the guidance of full-time staff members. In addition
to gaining extensive work experience, interns will also attend seminars that focus
on the role of museums in society today and include intimate conversations with Museum
staff. Seminars include intimate conversations with Brooklyn Museum curators, conservators,
educators, and collection and exhibition specialists, as well as invited artists and
outside experts. Interns also visit local museums and other cultural institutions.
Pay Rate: $17/hr.

HRTP: A Public Health Spring Internship Program
One of the oldest and largest public health traineeships in the country, the NYC Health Department Health Research Training Program (HRTP) provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to experience some of the real-life challenges of public health. By working on current public health issues under the close supervision and mentorship of experienced professionals, students apply classroom learning to practical problems in a closely matched practicum. In the process, they learn critical skills needed to excel in the field.

a paid internship? By participating in New York State’s Clean Energy Internship Program,
you will gain hands-on experience in the growing clean energy sector as either a part-time
or full-time paid intern in one of many potential roles. New York State Energy Research
and Development Authority has ongoing internship opportunities. NYSERDA is helping
prepare the next generation of clean energy workers by funding internships for students
and recent graduates at New York State’s clean energy companies through the New York
State Clean Energy Internship Program.

The Borgen Project have several internship and volunteer openings that may be of interest

The Melissa Riggio Higher Education Program is a team of dedicated professionals focused on providing individuals with meaningful college experience, relationships and life. Currently, we are establishing a team of devoted college student mentors to provide support to students with intellectual disabilities. College Mentors will provide academic, internship, community and social supports to students enrolled in Melissa Riggio Higher Education Program.
Mentors are thoroughly trained and supervised by our program coordinator and are involved in a variety of activities with our students.
