From academic and social, to identity-based and special concerns, the more than 60 student organizations at Kingsborough Community College reflect the diverse interests and activities of both day and evening students. Student organization involvement can introduce a student to new cultural experiences, help develop valuable leadership and organizational skills required in all aspects of life, and can lead to lasting friendships and community building. The number and types of student organizations change constantly as students’ interests and concerns change.

Student Life hosts an Involvement Fair every Fall and Spring semester specifically for interested students to interact with the student organizations in-person or virtually. The purpose of the accounting society is to provide its members with professional development in the field of accounting and also in developing the traits of a strong leader.


The Kingsborough Animation Club is an organization designed to explore the art, style, and history of animation. By giving club members the means to practice the craft and demonstrating to nonmembers of the club within Kingsborough Community College an awareness of this craft and art.

Cartoon and Anime Club

The Kingsborough Cartoon and Anime Club is an organization for Kingsborough Community College students interested in learning about different cultures through different cartoon stylings of our native countries. We hope to expose people to this art form by sharing our knowledge with fellow students and family members.


Antheon is the sole published creative arts project of our student body and its success is to the great credit of our students. The book includes poetry, photography, drawings, graphic arts, collages, and musical compositions by KCC students from every department.


The purpose of this organization is to foster an interest in art for the individual members and the student body at large.

Asian Society

The Asian Society is an organization for Kingsborough college students interested in Asian culture and representing members from all Asian countries through participation in events organized by the Asian Society.


The purpose of the Bilingual Club is to promote multicultural and multilingual studies. We provide opportunities for students to understand cultural diversity and global interactions as well as developing their leadership skills.

Brothers United

The Brother’s United Club is an organization to assist the Men’s Resource Center to build community among students identifying as male at KCC.

Bull and Bear Finance

The Club will act as a source of information for informed investment decisions.  Regular meetings will be held for informational purposes. Alternative investment opportunities will be addressed. An effort will be made to form investment analysis groups which will take the form of study groups. The club meetings will be an open forum to address investment trends.

Business Society

The purpose of Kingsborough students Business Society is to provide opportunities for learning, training, and development through experiences external to the classroom including lectures by experts in both the public and private sectors. Field trips to businesses, expositions, and seminars are part of our mission.


The purpose of this organization is to bring together Caribbean students on the KCC campus and to discuss issues specific to the Caribbean student.


Our purpose shall be to offer opportunities for ceramic enthusiasts to work and continue their studies in a mutually supportive environment and provide exhibits for all to enjoy.


The Kingsborough Chess Club is an organization for KCC students interested in learning, advancing, and mastering their chess skills. Our hope is to expose the entire student body to the joys of chess.

Chi Alpha Epsilon

The Chi Alpha Epsilon honor society was formed to recognize the academic achievements of students admitted to the college through non-traditional criteria and who are admitted to opportunity programs such as College Discovery, TRiO, and many others.

Chinese Student Association

The purpose of the organization shall be a cultural one. The main purpose is to acquire knowledge of Chinese civilization, languages, and arts.

College Discovery

The purpose of the College Discovery Club is to bring students interested in the College Discovery Program together while being inclusive of non-College Discovery students. We plan to have fun events including discussions, lectures, and social functions that will be interesting to all students.

Common Ground

The mission of Common Ground is to bring Kingsborough students together over common issues of interest, including current events, cultural events, and political action.

Community Cultivation Project

The mission of the Community Cultivation Project is to collaborate with students and student services to create effective strategies to resolve food insecurity among Kingsborough students and cultivate food justice on and off campus.

Community Health

This club will emphasize the promotion of higher education, the enhancement of communication between students and faculty, and the provision of support for incoming students in order to forward the promotion, protection, and preservation of health within the school community.

Cosplay Costumers 

The Cosplay Costumers Club is an organization for Kingsborough Community College students interested in any and all aspects of costuming or cosplay such as clothing design, crafting, sculpting woodworking, metalworking, electrical work, etc.

Culinary Club

The Culinary Club works closely with the Culinary department and students to explore occupations, businesses, creations, and skills in the Culinary field.

Dance Club

Dance Club encourages students of all skill levels to learn and create dance routines from different genres, cultures, and social media challenges.

DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) (Delta Epsilon Chi Chapter)

This club is an organization of students enrolled in community colleges with a purpose of helping students identify a career objective in the fields of marketing and distribution, to develop competencies important to their success in marketing, merchandising and management, and to develop leadership abilities and improve human relations. 

Debate Club 

The Debate Club offers students the opportunity to explore controversial, topical, and interesting issues while gaining valuable experience in public speaking, forming and defending arguments, and competing in mock trials.

Dog Tags (Veterans and Supporters)

Dog Tags shall provide guidance, aid, and fellowship to students who are veterans. We will give support to veteran students in the pursuit of their studies and provide information based on various benefits and opportunities available to them.


Ecology Club studies ecosystems, utilizing the environmental lab as a research center.

Education Club

The Education disseminates information concerning education and any new developments in the field, using any available media such as books, films, articles and guest speakers. Job opportunities are also discussed.


The purpose of this club shall be to provide a conduit by which students can access relevant entrepreneurial resources, network with prominent community entrepreneurs, and share ideas. To this end, the club is dedicated to furthering understanding about new or small businesses, and about entrepreneurship in all businesses.

Exercise Science

The mission of the Exercise Science Club is to provide opportunities for students to explore and practice Exercise Science based activities as a means to improve knowledge of the field, practice associated skills, and share interest of fitness with peers.

Fashion Design

The Fashion Design Club is an organization for Kingsborough Community College students interested in furthering their skills in fashion design and making other members of the Kingsborough Community College community aware of the genre.

Gaming Culture

The Gaming Culture Club is an organization for Kingsborough Community College students interested in furthering their understanding of the gaming culture and making other members of the Kingsborough Community College community aware of this culture.

Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code seek to close the gender gap in technology, provide opportunities for basic coding concepts for women who are interested in Computer Science, and provide a learning environment for women in the S.T.E.M. community.


The Hillel Club is to expose students to the fundamental cultural and ethical ideas, values and attitudes of Judaism and its writers and thinkers. We also want to share the ethical-religious teachings of Hillel the Elder (first century), known for his negative formulation of the Golden Rule (“What is hateful to you do not unto the neighbor’’), his pursuit of peace, and his wisdom combined with righteousness. 

Holistic Healthcare

To provide opportunities for students and faculty who share an interest in any area of holistic health/wellness. We will exchange information, learn about new complementary approaches and their application to various health conditions through guest speakers, experiential workshops, demonstrations, and field trips.


The purpose of The Honors Club is to provide a forum of cultural advancement, career development, educational enrichment, and fundraising for students interested in intellectual stimulation and the opportunity to work and socialize with like-minded students.

International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE)

The KCC ISPE Club will act as a gateway for students interested in biotechnology and other industries pertaining to the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering(ISPE). We will connect students interested in these professions with information, resources, and opportunities through the ISPE organization.


The purpose of The K-Pop Club is to allow Kingsborough students the opportunity to explore and practice dancing and singing in a student driven environment. We provide opportunities for aspiring K-pop fans to learn more about the industry and practice their craft both on and off campus through promoting performance events within the K-Pop community.

Kingsborough Theater

This club shall exist to acknowledge and promote an interest in theater and film through visual arts and related activities.

Latinos Juntos Unidos

The purpose of this organization is to foster an interest in the Spanish language and culture of its members and the student body at large.

LGBTQ+ Alliance

Our mission is to promote and preserve safety, education, and political activity by, for, and about the LGBTQ+  community on campus and off, as well as, unification through diversity.

Media Production

KCC TV Club is an organization for Kingsborough Community College students interested in furthering their understanding of television production and post- production. The club provides internship and networking recommendations for students interested in careers within the media industry.

Mental Health / Human Services

The purpose of The Mental Health/Human Services club is to promote the interest and welfare of the students pursuing a career in Mental Health and Human Services. This club will try to provide functions such as newsletters, job opportunities, and transfer opportunities.

My Turn

The purpose of  this organization shall be to promote educational and social activities for KCC students in the My Turn Program (aged 60 and over).

Muslim Students Association

The purpose of this club is to get and give knowledge onto others about the religion of Islam and clear all misconceptions tha people may have on the Muslim religion by creating awareness among our fellow students.

National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS)

The NSLS is an organization that provides a life-changing leadership program that helps students achieve personal growth, career success, and empowers them to have a positive impact in their communities.

Newman Catholic

The nature of The Newman Catholic Club shall primarily be of a religious nature. We will engage our members in social activities that will be of interest to the entire Kingsborough community.


The purpose of The Nursing and Health information center club is to keep nursing students and all other interested students informed about changes within the field of nursing.

Odyssey Yearbook Club

The mission of the Odyssey Yearbook is to work together to create a yearbook with integrity that captures the essence of our school community, students, staff, events, and memories of each school year so that we can look back and remember the good times at Kingsborough for years to come. The yearbook is developed for students and by students developing the design and content.

Orenda Comics

The purpose of The Orenda Comics Club shall be to bring students together in order to facilitate discussions, debates, and dialogue over comic book related topics in a warm, friendly, open atmosphere allowing individuals to share their personal views freely.

Phi Theta Kappa

The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa Club shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship, service, and leadership in Kingsborough Community College students. To achieve this purpose the club shall provide an opportunity for the development of leadership and service in an intellectual climate for an exchange of ideals and for stimulating interest in continuing academic excellence.


The purpose of The Photography Club is to enjoy the benefits of photography in a social atmosphere. 


The purpose of The Poetry Club is to set an informal environment in which each member will have the opportunity to share creative ideas. At each meeting we shall explore different forms of creative expression.


The purpose of the Recreation Club is to involve recreation majors in personal relationships with its members, participating in off campus activities, and also showing other groups that we are alive and well. There will be information on job opportunities for all recreation majors.


Scepter is a student newspaper serving the Kingsborough community of students, faculty, and staff . The purpose of the student newspaper is to serve as a communication medium between the students and various constituencies of the college. Scepter also helps the student government and other campus organizations serve the KCC student community.


The purpose shall be to offer opportunities for sculpting enthusiasts to work and continue their studies in a mutually supportive environment and to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom curriculum.

Speech Communication

The Purpose of the Speech and Communication Club is to give students the opportunity to exchange ideas on current issues, to train students in public speaking, debate, and oral interpretation techniques so they can participate in intercollegiate forensic contests. And to strengthen students analytical and critical thinking skills so they can make informed decisions on controversies of specific issues. 

Students Unlimited

The purpose of this organization is to share information, advocate, and confront issues of concern to students with disabilities. Students Unlimited is meant to be an active and positive social outlet.

Student Government Association (SGA)

The KCC SGA shall exist to represent the interests and concerns of the Kingsborough Community College student body, to develop and nurture reciprocal channels of interest and communication between KCC students, faculty, staff, and administration regarding campus affairs and programs, and to serve as a forum for the discussion of matters pertaining to the welfare of students at the college.

Surgical Technology 

The Surgical Technology Club fosters an appreciation for the occupation while exploring opportunities and practices within the field.


Tagar is dedicated to raising the level of Jewish education on campuses, and intensifying Jewish students' commitments to Israel and the Jewish people.

Tourism and Hospitality Club

To foster a closer relationship between Travel and Tourism Majors so that different ideas and methods within the travel industry may be known and discussed. To enable individuals the opportunity to share in a group experience with a common interest. To also develop a sense of professionalism among Travel & Tourism Majors and to coordinate various functions such as lectures, discussions, and socials of particular interest to Travel & Tourism Majors.


WKRB is KCC’s campus radio station and has been broadcasting since the spring of 1978. We serve a community of over 3 million people. Our aim is to reach as many people as possible with programming that is creative and professional, and which also serves as training for students seeking to make broadcasting their career.

Women and Gender Studies

The Women and Gender Studies Club seeks to introduce an understanding of the role of women in history and our society.


To promote religious Jewish education on the college campus and to encourage a sincere and deeper understanding of the intellectual and spiritual basis of Judaism.
